Framing the Henley EMBA
The experience of a lifetime
Henley Business School is recognised for its incredible Executive MBA programme. Alumni from this programme go on to secure highly lucrative roles in a range of industries at C level. The EMBA gives these Alumni a badge of honour, one that enables them to get the step up into the position they work so hard for.
Henley required a series of films to help inspire other would be prospective students to enrol, to join the course at Henley and it’s flagship centre of excellence, Greenlands Campus.
In this film, I proposed a completely new apporach to filming for Henley Business School, which involved a much more composed treatment, set and structure – a new way to capture and tell stories that felt premium, fit for the Alumni, to wrap them in a sense of prestige.
The films would ‘frame’ the course, through introspective stories that felt relatable and inspiring. With a unique and visually rich set treatment, the idea would be to suspend a series of gilt frames around our subject, creating the illusion of depth and suspension as if the frames were floating in space.
My role included a beginning to end process of ideation, concept, presentation, art direction, treatment, set design, narrative, scripting, interview, BTS and stills, and working through post production with producers, editors and animators to capture the end result – a project the client is thrilled with.
